Dear Fan Club Members,
I hope that everyone is having a nice warm spring. My
spring started out cold and rainy, but has finally
become warm and sunny! My family and I have been
exercising more each day by taking the dogs for a walk
and going to our local gym. We can really tell a
difference in our lifestyles. We all have more energy
and aren’t as tired anymore. Each day we teach our
daughter new exercises and eating habits.
Here are some kid friendly and adult friendly snacks-
1. Crisp apple wedges (Honey crisp, Granny Smith, and
Braeburn are especially good.)
2. Frozen red and green grapes
3. Individual pizzas made with whole wheat English
muffins, salt-free tomato sauce, dried oregano, and
low-fat mozzarella cheese
4. Fat-free, sugar-free yogurt (Divide into two servings
for young children.)
5. Orange fruit smoothie made with fresh orange juice,
ice cubes, and fat-free, sugar-free vanilla yogurt
6. Fruit ka-bobs (pineapple chunks, sliced bananas, and
seedless grapes)
7. Baby carrots, celery, and broccoli with low-fat
vegetable cream cheese (Thin the cheese with a little
fat-free milk.)
8. Dried apples, apricots, pears, and raisins
9. Unsweetened applesauce
11. Homemade trail mix (unsalted peanuts, raisins, and a
few chocolate chips)
12. Low-fat peanut butter and sugar-free jelly
sandwiches on whole wheat bread
I hope this is helpful for you and your family. Have a
great month and stay dry.
Keep Smiling!!!

1 cup raw short-grain rice, rinsed in a colander until
the water runs clear (recommended: Arborio)
4 1/2 cups whole, 2 percent fat, or 1 percent fat milk
1/4 cup diced dried apricots
1/4 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest
4 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
Whipped cream, for garnish
In a covered heavy saucepan, bring the rice, milk,
apricots, vanilla scrapings and lemon zest to a simmer
over medium heat. Immediately reduce the heat to as low
as possible, cover tightly, and simmer gently, stirring
occasionally, until the rice is very tender, 20 to 25
minutes. Turn off the heat. Stir the egg yolks into the
cooked rice mixture and stir just until thickened, 1 to
2 minutes. Stir in the sugar. Pour the rice pudding into
ramekins or dessert cups and let cool. Cover tightly
with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours or
until ready to serve, up to 24 hours. Serve with whipped
cream.

Your clock always makes me smile. Thanks for keeping
Kit-Cat alive.
Merle
Zavalla, TX
I have owned Kit-Cat clocks for over 25 years now. And I
remember them from when I was a child (I'm 51 now) in my
Kindergarten classroom. If I am depressed, all I need to
do is look at my Kit-Cat Clock, and it's guaranteed to
make me smile again!

In 1994 my mom gave me a Kit -Cat clock. It had graced
my walls until this year when it just fell off one day
and I couldn't fix it. I just found the old box for her
with your address and just now found you with help from
Google. So happy to see you are still in business. I
can't wait.

I remember Kit-Cat as a child, The "Chiefland Citizen"
carries American Profile in their paper, here I am on
the other side of the country in North Florida, and I
smiled when I read the article, and looked up your
web-site, even though they were running a special promo
on the Black cat...I wanted the 75th anniversary Black
and a white Lady cat to go with him...I have seen these
in nearly every Southern state I have been in...So cute
and instantly makes you smile....THANKS SO MUCH!

Great clocks. My mom received one as a gift and said it
was just like hers as a young girl. She has given one to
each of us kids and now it's time to bring more into the
family and do some maintenance.

I am glad to see you all are still in business. I owned
a Kit-Cat clock back in the 80's. I am looking forward
to owning one again. Thanks again!!!

Very happy to see there are replacement parts available
for the Kit- Cat. Mine has recently fallen, and I would
be very upset if I was unable to find parts and have it
repaired. Thank You.

I'm so thrilled you are still making such a great
product. My wife will be even more thrilled that I was
able to get one for her. Thanks

We had a kit-Cat clock as a kid-I used to throw things
at my sister and knock the tail off, but it never broke.
I don't know what ever happened to him, but I need
another (I've stopped throwing things at my sister)

I’ve seen your clocks in a lot of older movies and
television shows. Every time I saw them I always
thought, "Those are so cool. Some day I’ll have to get
one," and today is that day.

I've wanted a Kit-Cat clock since I first saw them as a
kid in an old clock shop in Baltimore. Lucky me, your
advertisement came in the mail and gave me the
opportunity to get this piece of history. Thanks so
much.

Adore the "Kit-Cat". I have given him/her as gifts as
well as have three different ones in my home. He/she
makes a wonderful wedding present or when someone thinks
they have everything. Thanks for bringing a smile to All
who meet and own "THE Kit-Cat". Thanks and continued
success.

The first memory I have from Kit-Cat clocks was that
from one Sizzler commercial in '84 when there were two
women in a room where there was a Kit-Cat clock and then
one of the women rolled her eyes like Kit Cat did and
ever since then I wanted to have one. My dream came true
almost four years ago.

I LOVE IT! I saw your story in American Profile (Nevada
Appeal) and was thrilled to see an all American Company!
I’m 54 and remember these clocks and I had no idea they
were still made and add to that they are not that import
*%&#! I ordered 2 clocks (15” black) one for me and one
for a friend’s birthday, my husband was skeptical about
quality until they showed up and even he loves it and he
is so picky about quality; both of us agree it is a
great value! Everyone should have at least one of these
and you are absolutely right, I smile every time I see
it hanging on the wall.
Congratulations on keeping the quality alive and well in
America and thank you for all you and your workers do to
ensure such a great and fun product!
Best wishes and continued success,

I got two clocks one for me and one for my cousin in
Denmark. He is over 50, single and will hang in the
kitchen also. It is his first one. I had one in 1932 as
a small child, plus was taught to tell time on it.
