The weather here has been very hot and humid, so we spend a lot of time at the local pool trying to stay cool. I have such a great time watching my daughter and her friends splashing around laughing and having a good time. In the evenings after dinner, we take our two dogs for a walk and enjoy the quiet time together. One day when we were at the pool it was above 90 degrees and very humid. We would get out of the pool and instantly dry. This type of weather makes you very thirsty, so we decided to get something to drink. (EXPAMPLE June 29) We have great pictures and stories.   Great all-American Road Show- Click Here   August Recipe (Berry Banana Smoothie) 1 ripe banana, cut into pieces 2 cups of berries - blueberries (fresh or frozen), strawberries (quartered), or other berries 1/2 cup crushed ice 2 cups plain yogurt 1/4 cup honey Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.     Spending time in the kitchen together making delicious treats is FUN! We have a cat, Thomas, who looks just like it. One day I couldn’t find Thomas in the house anywhere and started to worry. I eventually found him in the kitchen on his hind legs staring up at the clock. I couldn’t stop laughing for days. To this day, Thomas will still get up on his hind legs and stare at Kit-Cat.     Fan Club- Click Here   Encouragement Chronicles I think this clock will make a lot of my employees happy here in Iraq. We are Contractors that work on the Military's equipment daily. Also it will bring a smile to some of the Soldiers that come to pick up there equipment thinking of there home or childhood. Thanks, Chris God Bless. I would like to inform you that the Kit Cat Clock has arrived here in Iraq. I have it inside my office along with the time line and history behind the clock. So for everyone that has walked in has seen this clock some where or another. But a lot do not know the history behind it when they read it they are intrigued and find it very interesting. And has brought many smiles to faces already and bring many more as time goes on. I would like to say thanks in your support of the Soldiers and Civilians’ that are here in Iraq and other places through out the world it means a lot. Thanks, Chris I'm 51 years old and remember that there was a Kit-Cat Clock in my Kindergarten classroom. I re-discovered the clock in 1980 and immediately bought one. Since then, I've always had a Kit-Cat in my home. I now work at a school and there's a Kit-Cat in my office as well. The children today love Kit-Cat as much as they did in my day!
