Dear Fan Club Members,
I hope that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. Ours was
very busy from start to finish. From the time I woke up,
I was on the go the whole day. Cooking in the early
morning to getting the house ready for company and then
cleaning up after the guest all left. It was so much fun
though and it was so good to see everyone that day. That
is why I just love Thanksgiving, it brings us all
together and we can catch up on stories and laugh at all
the good memories. My husband last year won the annual
pie eating contest and vowed to never eat pie again. He
was true to his word this year!
The day after each Thanksgiving my family and I have a
tradition that we set up our outside lights for the
holidays. Sometimes we get lucky and are able to use
lights from the previous year, but this year we had no
luck. So we all ran to the store together and picked out
all new lights. We decided we wanted to change from
white lights to red and green to make the house look
more festive. After being out in the cold brisk weather
for several hours setting up the lights, our bodies were
so chilled, so we went inside and warmed ourselves up
with some hot chocolate. After we warmed up, we went
back outside to look at our lights that we all worked so
hard on. You could tell that we were all so proud of the
way they looked and glowed into the dark night. It is
times like this that gives you memories of having fun
and doing something together as a family.
As the year winds down, and the New Year approaches.
Take some time to reflect on this past year and think
about the good and bad and what you want to improve or
change and what you want to continue to do right. Enjoy
the holidays. Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and Happy
New Year!
Keep smiling,
Julie Young

1. When I was young, my uncle had one hanging on his
wall. I loved the way the eyes and tail moved. It hung
on his wall for years even after it quit working. I
decided I wanted one in my newly remodeled kitchen which
is red, white and blue.

2. I read the article in 'American Profile'. It brought
back some good 'ole memories! I'm Christmas shopping for
my family's "Yankee Swap". This will be great fun!

7. Say Hello to the President of the company. I met him
and his helpers on their Rt. 66 Tour when they came
through Barstow. They also e-mailed me some photos.
Thank you. I love the clock I bought then, and it always
brings a smile to my face. This one should delight my
grandsons and mortify my daughter when I have it put in
their room!

8. I remember well my first encounter with a Kit-Cat
clock. When I was a child, I HATED going to the dentist.
But I “endured” each visit by intently watching the
dentist’s black Kit-Cat clock on the wall. It helped
take my mind off the visit. Maybe I should recommend it
to my adult dentist?!

9. This clock is a first anniversary gift for my son and
his wife. They were married in Stroud, Oklahoma which is
on Route 66. I found the perfect gift on your website!

Soon, this area will be filled with inspirational
stories that will lift you up and move you to do the
things you need to do to live a more fulfilling and fun
filled life.
But these won't be just any old stories. These will be
your stories!
Your story can be about yourself or someone else you
know, or it can be one you read somewhere else that
touched you in so many ways. As long as it is one of
hope, encouragement and that will bring a smile to your
heart it will be considered.
So what's your incentive to submit your chronicle of
encouragement? Tales of inspiration should always be
shared. If your story can motivate just one person to
take action then you have given something irreplaceable
to others in the Kit-Cat Fan Club community.
Please email your story of 1000 words or less, along
with
an optional short bio of yourself to:
