That is why we make New Year’s resolutions. This year, I have decided that my resolution is going to learn to be more environmental friendly. I know that we hear it in the news all the time, but I was looking at how bad my family was at being environmental friendly. We drink our water out of plastic bottles and just throw them in the trash. So instead of buying cases of plastic bottles, I purchased a water cooler dispenser that holds a five gallon water jug. I know this doesn’t sound like much, but these are the little things that can help our environment. Share funny stories, pictures and have fun with the new Kit-Cat MySpace Page.     The Official Kit-Cat MySpace Page - Click Here   January Recipe (Chocolately Chocolate Chip Muffins) Ingredients All Purpose Flour, 1.5 cup Granulated Sugar, .75 cup Cocoa powder, unsweetened, .5 cup Baking Powder, 2 tsp Baking Soda, .5 tsp Salt, .5 tsp Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp Egg, fresh, 1 large Orange Juice, .75 cup Vegetable or Canola Oil, .25 cup Semisweet chocolate chips, 1 cup Directions Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl (flour, cocoa, sugar, salt, BP, BS). In a separate bowl mix egg, juice, oil and vanilla. Then add wet ingredients to dry and mix just to combine. Stir in chips and scoop into 12 muffin cups. Bake 15-20 minutes until done. Number of Servings: 12     Spending time in the kitchen together making delicious treats is FUN! Each first birthday, I buy them a Kit-Cat clock. My granddaughters first birthday was a couple of months ago, so I ordered a red Kitty-Cat clock from the Kit-Cat website. I waited till she had opened all her gifts, then I handed her the wrapped clock. It was so funny because all of her brothers, sisters and cousins were wondering if I had forgotten. They all still have their clocks I gave them. I just got the tabby cat today and promptly hung him on the wall! I now see why you guys have been around so long every time I pass through the kitchen I can't stop looking at this clock! I also just won on ebay tonight an electric cat clock from the fifties so it will be my third cat clock purchase in a two week period I am hooked on these clocks and I am only 31 years old I love them and I have been doing a lot of research about the clocks and the heritage of your company. I found out if the tail stops placing a strong magnet on the mechanism inside over night will recharge the movement. Our one clock is over 12 years old and still runs like the day we bought it. To my knowledge, this is the first time that a clock needed a part. I rarely have to service any of the clocks I have sold. I sell as many Kit-Cats to adults as I do to parents with children.
