Affiliate Program FAQs
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
It's simple. After you've signed up and agreed to our terms and conditions, just place a link (banner and/or a text link) on your website to www.kit-cat.com. When your customer decides to place an order with us, you receive 7.5% of the total merchandise ordered (excluding tax, shipping, and handling). Even if the customer doesn't make a purchase that day, you can still receive your commission if they return to our website and places an order within 30 days; you'll be credited for the sale!
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
The simplest way to get started is to place one or more of our banner ads on your site. It will link directly to our home page. Your unique affiliate ID number will travel with your customer as they shop our site. When they check out your ID number becomes part of the order. It’s that easy!
Based on our experience, affiliate programs are most successful when affiliates do a bit more to entice visitors to click on the link. A good way to generate ‘click throughs’ is to marry our link to copy on your website which highlights the products we sell.

IS THERE ANY COST OR OBLIGATION ON MY PART?
No. The program is free to join for anyone with an appropriate website. You can leave the program at any time.
DOES JOINING YOUR PROGRAM LIMIT ME IN ANY WAY AS FAR AS MY SITE IS CONCERNED?
No -- it's your site and you're certainly free to list other resources or participate in other affiliate programs. We do, however, request that you do not join another affiliate program which competes with our products.
There is one offense for which will be cause for immediate and permanent termination -- SPAMMING! If you use unsolicited e-mail or any newsgroup/message board postings to promote your link, your account will be terminated immediately. This is a ONE STRIKE AND YOU’RE OUT policy.
I NOTICE THE PROGRAM IS RUN THROUGH A SITE CALLED "FREEFILATE.COM" WHO ARE THEY?
Freefilate is a company that specializes in managing affiliate programs such as this. They are a completely neutral third party, so you can count on an accurate and fair accounting of all orders placed through your participation in the program.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY LINK IS GENERATING ORDERS?
You'll be able to check your statistics, include the money you've earned, 24 hours a day on the Freefiliate website.
I JUST CHECKED MY STATS. IT SAYS AN ORDER WAS PLACED FROM MY LINK, BUT I HAVEN'T BEEN CREDITED WITH THE MONEY YET. HOW COME?
Credit is given once an order is confirmed -- either by receiving an approval of the submitted credit card or receipt of a check. In most cases where a credit card is used, there will be a delay of only an hour or two between the time the order is placed and your account is credited.
HOW DO I GET PAID?
We pay all commissions within 30 days of the end of the preceding month by check. For example, if you earn a commission in the month of May you will receive a check by the 30th of June. We will only send out checks if you earned more then $20 in a month. Anything below $20 will be combined with the following months commissions or until your commissions total more then $20.

Kit-Cat Klocks have been selling in stores across the country since the mid 1930's. His zany smile has filled homes and offices alike with joy and excitement. But why is he still so popular after all of these years? "Many letters arrive each year," says Woody Young, owner of the California Clock Company (Kit-Cat's home), "asking us to tell Kit-Cat's story."
THE KIT-CAT STORY
The Kit-Cat Klock was created in a small town on the west coast during the Great Depression. While the people of this nation were struggling to survive, the Kit-Cat Klock gave them a smile and entertained them with his rolling eyes and wagging tail. Knowing this, it is easy for us to understand how he can still bring comfort to many who remember those trying times. But why does he grace the walls of those who are far too young to remember the Depression? For the answer let us turn to a couple of letters written to the California Clock Company:
"...when I was a young child, my pediatrician had a
Kit-Cat Klock hanging on the wall next to the examining table. I was always
scared of the doctor, but seeing Kit Cat's wagging tail and rolling eyes put my
mind at ease. Now that I have my very own Kit-Cat Klock, I feel a touch of
nostalgia each time I check the time. Thank you for reviving precious memories."

exactly like the one my father had purchased many years ago. For more than 20
