To kick off our 80th year (2012) Kit Cat sponsored its very own float in the 2012 Pasadena Rose Parade®

Aptly named, “Timeless Fun for Everyone,” the 55 ft. long parade entry was a nostalgic look back at history. Adorning the float was a 3-story tall black and white Kit-Cat Clock, with its contagious smile, rolling eyes and swinging tail, one of the most recognizable icons in home décor, as well as other flower bedecked images that bring back memories of good times — a chocolate malt from a 40’s soda fountain and a jukebox from the ‘50’s. Kit-Cat’s float was the only commercial float that was “CA Grown” with 100% of our floral coming from CA to celebrate the last 50 years manufacturing each and every Kit-Cat Clock in our California facility.

The Golden Ticket
Opportunity: Kit Cat selected 8 lucky winners to receive the “Golden Ticket” opportunity to
represent Kit-Cat’s loyal fans on the Kit-Cat Float. The winners were seen riding and dancing on the float in front of 10s of millions around the world.  Stay tunned for more exciting fan opportunities.
